  • I can't select the date I want to order. Does that mean I can't place an order?
We require a minimum of 7 days' notice for all orders to ensure the quality of our products. However, if you need to place a rush order due to special circumstances, it may be possible depending on our schedule. Please contact us, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
  • How do I properly transport and store my product/order from your store?
It is extremely important that you take extra caution when transporting cakes or delicate items! All of our product should be kept as flat as possible when transporting. If it is a shelf-stable item, it can be kept at room temperature but we suggest that our product be consumed within 24 hours of purchase to ensure you are getting the best quality. Any items that were refrigerated in our store should be refrigerated when you get to your destination, unless you will be consuming it within a couple of hours. All products should be displayed in cool area away from direct heat or sunlight. Cakes should be held from the bottom and not by the sides of the box. They should be placed carefully on the passenger side floor of your car, or in the trunk of an SUV or hatchback, not the trunk of a sedan. Seats of cars are slanted and could potentially damage a cake. The car should be at a cool temperature. If it is hot outside, your car should have the a/c on high and if it is cold outside, the heat should be turned off for the entire time of travel. Cakes should be kept out of direct heat or sunlight for extended periods of time. Please drive cautiously and avoid braking too quickly or making sharp turns. We do our best to securely box your order for the easiest transport however some cakes, based on height and shape, cannot be fully covered. We always make sure we are supplying you with a cold and sturdy cake and will do our best to help you get it securely in your vehicle but once the cake leaves our store, we are no longer responsible for it. To avoid any preventable mishaps please make yourself aware of these guidelines, listen to our staff when they explain the best way to transport your specific order, and ask questions if you are unsure of anything!
  • What is fondant?
Fondant is a sugar-based covering for cakes that is a substitute for traditional icing. We make our own fondant in the bakery, which has a soft, candy-like texture/taste. Fondant is useful for certain designs that cannot be neatly drawn. It is also useful for outdoor events where butter cream would melt.
  • How to store
CAKES Once you have picked your cake up I always suggest popping it straight into a fridge or an industrial cool room if there is one at a venue. A buttercream cake is best to be left out at room temperature about 30-1hrs before serving the cake, and fresh cream cakes are suggested to be kept in fridge until just before serving. Marshmallow fondant COOKIES These are best kept out of the fridge. If they are refrigerated the fondant icing can become sticky from condensation on the surface of the fondant when brought to room temperature from the fridge. CUPCAKES These are also best kept refrigerated then taken out an hour or so before eating. Again, if it is unusually hot best keep them out of direct heat (eg. keep inside on a table).

  • Dietary Requirements
If you have any dietary requirements, I do stress that you let me know what they are (especially with allergies). I’m more than happy to cater for any allergies, intolerances or requirements you might have including: nuts, egg, dairy, gluten etc. However, there may be certain flavours or designs where an ingredient cannot be altered.
  • Cancelled Orders
Orders that are cancelled or amended within 7 days of pickup or delivery date must be paid in full. For example - if your cake is to be picked up on Friday for the weekend you must cancel or make any amendments by the previous Friday evening to avoid having to pay for the originally agreed amount. By this time, I have already spent hours corresponding, ordering stock and designing your cake and personalised toppers, materials, decorations, cake boards and ingredients for the cake have been ordered, picked up and paid for.
  • I want you to put a topper, figurine, or toy on my cake/cupcakes, can you do that?
Of course! If you have purchased items that you would like included on your order, please let us know when placing your order and bring those items to us as soon as possible so we can prepare to secure them to your order the best way possible. We can also help guide you on what the best sizes are to purchase for the size of your order.
  • Delivery
Here's how the delivery fee works: We calculate it by multiplying the radius distance from our workshop to the exact address you enter by $2. For distances up to 10km, the fee is a flat $20. Beyond 10km, it's calculated per km. As shown in the picture below, the radius distance is the shortest mathematical distance, not the driving route, so it’s usually 5-10km less than what your GPS shows. When you enter your exact address, you’ll see the delivery fee right away during checkout. If you are unable to select the delivery option for distances over 40km, please contact us. Current delivery times are: Tuesday 6pm - 8pm Wednesday 6pm - 8pm Friday 6pm - 8pm Saturday 3pm - 4pm Sunday 9am - 11am These times might change in the future.
